IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR ENTRY INTO THE U.S.
Starting November 8, 2021:
- The travel ban will be lifted: the U.S. will reopen to air travelers from 33 countries, including China, India, Brazil, and most of Europe, who are fully vaccinated** against Covid 19. Many details of the new policy are still being decided. Please contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate near for further information.
- Mixed vaccine doses will be accepted by the U.S.: on October 15, 2021, the U.S. Center for Disease announced that individuals inoculated with any combination of two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by U.S. regulators or the World Health Organization (i.e., Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson and Johnson/Janssen, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Oxford/Covishield, Sinopharm or Sinovac) would be considered fully vaccinated.
** Air travelers coming into the United States are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving:
- the second dose of Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson and Johnson/Janssen, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Oxford, Sinopharm or Sinovac or receiving any combination of two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine; or
- a single dose of the Johnson and Johnson/Janssenvaccine.

Free service from the airport to the 44th St/Washington light rail station. Trains arrive and depart every 3-5 minutes and operate 24 hours a day.
Valley Metro Light Rail
Provides low-cost transportation ($2 one-way) from Sky Harbor Airport to downtown Phoenix and other points of interest within Greater Phoenix.
Going from the Airport to the Sheraton Phoenix on Public Transportation:
A one-way fare from the airport to the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown starts at $16.
Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
